Question #1:

Is the Bonzo's pal Ronald Reagan legacy finally coming to an end?

I hope so. We can finally see the results: the country in economic and moral bankruptcy, wars we can't win in Iraq and Afghanistan, the country divided and Wall Street coming down like playcards. Even Monkey Bonzo must be having a heart attack! . Feedback, please!
I knew all this was going to happen twenty years ago sooner or later. I was so right. I never liked Bonzo's pal Reagan. He was phony!
And some people then called me "negative". Now I am laughing!

Question #2:

Do you think the problems with the economy could have been purposely planned?

The Federal Reserve is a privately owned bank, and they have purposely inflated the dollar to the point where it has surpassed wages, no one can afford anything, and because of it people have borrowed more than ever, making then even more succeptible to slavery through money. The Federal Reserve has given banks huge amounts of money they created out of thin air with nothing to back it up.

Sounds like a plot of economic terrorism. The Federal Reserve bank has also loaned so much money to the US government that we are trillions in debt, we spent money we did not have, and we got most of it from the federal reserve which has loaned it to us.

We now owe them, and it will soon get to the point where our interest will be so high we will not even be able to pay it. At that point we could be forced to declare bankruptcy of our country, and the Federal Reserve and it's private owners will have america at their disposal.

"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men." -Woodrow Wilson, after signing the Federal Reserve into existence

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless
on the continent their fathers conquered." -Thomas Jefferson

Question #3:

Will someone PLEASE help me die?

Can people just stop giving their opinions as to how selfish it is to want to die? I want a real answer. It does not get better. After waiting 15 years my life has not gotten any better. I am in financial ruin and have tried everything to get out of it. I don't have the money to file bankruptcy and if I got it wouldn't take care of my biggest debt (student loan). Now after being single for over ten years, the man I was dating and fell in love with broke up with me via text message. I can't take it anymore.

Question #4:

Failed IVA and cannot afford to file for bankruptcy?

Hi there, my hubby & I took an IVA last year which failed as we couldn't afford the payments. Since then both mine and his parents took ill and now live with us, we can't afford to pay our debts and neither do have the money to file for bankruptcy. We have no assets and no surplus income after paying rent, utilities and food. What will happen if our creditors do not accept a token payment of £1 per month? We cannot afford a penny more! Thanks

Question #5:

was it right to have a thanksgiving party in a posh resort after the $700 billion bailout?

WASHINGTON – Days after it got a federal bailout, American International Group Inc. (AIG) spent $440,000 on a posh California retreat for its executives, complete with spa treatments, banquets and golf outings, according to lawmakers investigating the company’s meltdown.

AIG sent its executives to the coastal St. Regis resort south of Los Angeles even as the company tapped into an $85-billion loan from the government it needed to stave off bankruptcy. The resort tab included $23,380 worth of spa treatments for AIG employees, according to invoices the resort turned over to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

The retreat didn’t include anyone from the financial products division that nearly drove AIG under, but lawmakers still were enraged over thousands of dollars spent on outing for executives of AIG’s main US life insurance subsidiary.

Question #7:

Why is family worse than strangers?

I got out of a abusive 10 year marriage last year. I have 2 small children, I left the military because I can't deploy with young children and no husband. I got a job working for the fed govt which is decent. I had to file Bankruptcy cause the ex had credit cards galore in my name and had them being sent to a PO box yeah it was a huge mess. I'm trying to get back on my feet. I was in an accident 6months ago and my car was totaled so my dad helped me get a new one. My sister and my mom have been saying the most hurtful things like I'm a bother to them and using my dad. But that is far from the truth, I've never been late on a payment. And I'm looking into refinancing to free my dad from the debt. My sister says because of our dad helping me with a car it's has caused her student loans interest rates to increase which I know is a lie it's the economy. I think she's mad that our dad helped me because he's always co-signing for her. i'm so hurt by there comments and even my dad is starting to act weird with me. Strangers have been more helpful and supportive than my family why is that?

Question #8:

food for thought????????

do you think the USA should declare bankruptcy?

Question #9:

husband is being sued by creditors, please help, lots of questions?

A lady dropped off some papers in person today, from a law firm, stating he needs to appear in court Oct 17th. The total came to a little over 1600$, he has 2 other cards with about this much on each (but neither has filed a complaint). Problem is, we are barely making it as it is, we are even on food stamps right now. We have 3 children, and I don't work right now, I plan to go back to school. Also, he was only 17 when he got the card, he lied on the application, will that have an effect? Should he file for bankruptcy? Can they attach his wages?

Question #10:

For single parents out there? What do you expect from people who date you? Reality check?

Well, I don't have children on my own. But I have involved with a never married father of 2 small children.
He hasn't dated much because he was busy concentrating on his work and his two kids. and be honest with you, his financial situation prevents him from taking any girls out. (He is on edge of filing for bankruptcy) I dated him for a while because I think he is a great person. I have been posting and reading questions here on yahoo answer, and found out people do have unrealistic expectations from women / men who date single parents.
I laid all my cards on the table. I told him "I am not going to be your kids step mother, never. I can be however, the great adult friend who is there for them. and I will not interfere with their daily life but I won't make any decision for them. It is their parents job. Financially, it is all up to the court, however, if I decided to form a family with a single dad, I also have to watch out for my future family and my future kids."
He told me he trusts me, respect me, and loves me. So it is all up to me. He doesn't expect me to be the care giver or the step mom, what he wants me to be is his loving wife, well, hopefully.
I am just wondering if there is anything I have left out to say to him because reading answers and questions on yahoo here regarding dating a single parents discourage me. But I think it should be dealt with case by case. Not every situation is difficult. Just looking for advices to see if we are handling the situation in a mature kind of way. What are the potential dramas you see here in our relationship? thanks

Question #13:

I filed for bankruptcy last October. I included my house in it. Not surprising with the market the way it is?

I haven't heard from the bank about taking the property. We are still living there. Today I received a property tax notice that unless paid the house will go up for sale in 2 months. I was planning to just pay the taxes (small price to pay for a years worth of free rent) however, I was wondering what all of the scenarios could be with this situation.
**In my state you have the choice to reaffirm or include some secured debt. This all depends on how much equity you have built up and where you fall in the income means test. I chose not to reaffirm. I will not bore you all with the drawn out details of how I got into this mess, lets just say that after taking in 2 physically disabled relatives, losing 2 others suddenly, a leaky roof & a flood that took out my furnace and water heater (not covered by homeowners insurance) I had no choice by to default and file. My question now centers on property tax obligations. :-)

Do we need new politicians at all levels due to recent errors, failed war efforts, failed economic plans?

Isn't it time for change at president, congress, and state office? Bush failed. In my state Arnold failed and California is on the brink of Bankruptcy. McCain and long time congress members failed at every turn.
I am asking for new leadership at all levels. California is broke, the US is broke, and I would vote for new leadership.

I had to refinance to consolidate date because of a job loss. The rate is 9.74 on a two year arm which is almost up. The fair market price has dropped considerably since then. With closing costs, etc., if a refinance again with this same company I will owe even more than now..but stay at 9.74. I went to a few lenders but there is nothing out there. Can I file bankruptcy..should I? Should I let it go into foreclosure? I actually have a good credit score and never missed any payments but I am going backwards here. I am 54. I will never get it payed for at this rate.
